Notes that Me and Frankie have made on our ident design ideas

  

These are some of the ideas we have for the identity for our podcast. We have also think of an idea for what we want our identity top look like depending on the name that has been chosen. Our podcast covers lots of different topics so we both agreed that we both want our names and identity to be relevant to what our podcast channel would be about. We also think that our name should be fun and has a nice ring to it so the audience is able to remember it more.

Me and Frankie have decided that one of our friends, Shreeya, can join our podcast project as a co-host because she has quite a knowledge on the topics we are going to be about (books, movies and K-Pop industry). However, Shreeya does not attend Stanmore College anymore so she is not able to be able to come into college to record in the college's recording studio. To fix this, we have found a 24/7 public studio where we can meet and record our podcast for £15/hr. This means that we can go and record at the studio whenever we like by paying a reasonable amount of fees for it.

Ident Design

Podcasts normally have their own identity that they would use for the audience to be able to recognise their brand identity and what they stand for or represent. Me and my partner for this project, Frankie, came up with the idea of basing our podcast identity of from a well known meme called "No maidens?". The stated meme means for someone who does not have the ability to gain popularity among the female community. These people are normally referred to outcasts among the male community as they do not have the ability that would earn respect form other males since it is referred to as 'typical male' behaviour. This identity would be perfect for our podcast because our target audience are mostly "Gen Zs" who are outcasts and describe themselves as someone who is unique to the rest of the people around them and we want this podcast to be a place where these people can enjoy listening to the topics that are normally not be discussed about comfortably with other people and also being able to geek out on things that we also enjoy.

We have planned to film our podcast as well as record an audio version of our episodes, so we have created a podcast channel on YouTube. I will be using the first design as our channel banner and the second ident design as our profile picture.
